Free Software User’s Group, Thiruvananthapuram is hosting a release party for Ubuntu 10.04 on May 2, Sunday.
Venue:- Press Club, Thiruvananthapuram
Time:- 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Ubuntu is a Free Software GNU/Linux operating system which is a stable, fully usable operating system for an average user. Ubuntu is a one stop solution for those who wants to be free from Virus attacks, security problems and for those wants to be free from proprietary software giants which will hinders our freedom.
FSUG Thiruvanathapuram formerly known as ILUG-TVM is a community for promoting Free Software in all areas of society. Any one using or want to know about Free Software can join the group and get in touch with other users.
There is no entry fees for the event. Any one can walk in to the venue and participate. There will be some give aways like sticker’s, Ubuntu Install CD etc.. We are also distributing Ubuntu T-shirts along with the event. Those who are interested can register for it here.
