Alliance Française de Trivandrum in association with the Embassy of France in India and filcawill organise a 2 day Student’s Film Festival titled “L’Indiscrète” on 10 and 11 September at Alliance Française de Trivandrum.The films present India, as seen by its young filmmakers.
The festival showcases 25 Short Films, Fiction, Animation and Documentary from 8 Indian Film Institutes and Media Institutes. This festival brings together a festival of short, documentary and animation films produced by this country’s foremost Film Institutes and Media Schools. These films, whether made in regular 35mm format or in the new digital medium indicate the direction in which the nation’s new generation of movie makers is moving. This package of youth films will tells the world at large about our aspirations, frustrations, hopes, desires, disillusionment and prejudices. The films have been made at FTII, Pune, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, Whistling Woods International Limited, Mumbai, MGR Government Film and Television Institute, Chennai, L.V. Prasad Film & TV Academy, Chennai, Mindscreen Film Institute, Chennai and AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi
The festival includes three packages: Cities And Lives, Family Portraits and Tales From Past And Present. City of Lives will be showcased on 10 September at 2.30 Pm, family portraits and Tales from past and present on September 11 ,10 .00 am and 2.30 pm respectively .
