Trivandrum all set for 3G

BSNL 3G service will be officially launched in trivandrum this month.

Current BSNL prepaid Users can now Migrate to 3G now by just sending a SMS.bsnl 3g

No Migration charges and SMS charges are applicable.

Procedure to migrate to BSNL 3G

Step I : SMS  M3G120 to 53733

After System Message Confirm by

Step II : SMS M3G120Y to 53733

Wait for a message and you are a 3G user.

Call Charges : After migration Every Local Video Call will be charged RS. 1/- per minute

You can reduce the call charges for 1year by easy recharging your mobile for RS. 98/- . Now every Local Video call will costs only 30 Ps/ minute and every STD video Call will cost 50 ps/Minute. by doing this your current plan will be automatically changed to this plan and the offers available for the old plan will no more be active.

    I am waiting for last few months to get 3G. But it was launched in North Kerala only in January. Now it was launched in Kollam,Kottayam,Allepey,etc…..except Trivandrum(HEAD QUARTER OF KERALA !!!!!!!!!!!) What is this ?
    I lost my confident to get BSNL 3G……

    Any idea when mobile number portability will actually be implemented? I have the same Airtel number for 6 years and want to maintain that.

    @satheesh hey no need to wait any more now….you can migrate to 3G now itself and if you want a all new 3G sim just wait till 15th

    @Ajith : read some where that number portability will be implemented by March 2010. No confirmation anyway

    Sujith – I registered to upgrade my 2G to 3G (thru online) a month back & got confirmation also.
    There is no need to get a new SIM(it’s just 256K), existing will be upgraded(My friend is using in TamilNadu)…..
    Even CC personels not having knowledge about 3G…..
