Technopark celebrating two decades of glory

Technopark, the first IT Park in the state is celebrating its 20th birthday. Started as a small time IT Park, it now has around 180 companies operating and around 28000 employers. Two decades after its launch the largest IT Park in the country is aiming to be one of first five IT investment destinations the country has to offer.
Started in 1991, the only aim of Technopark was to create and infra structure and provide support for development of high technology companies in the state .Since then TechnoPark had no turning back. IT sector in the world was in such a boom, Companies poured in and now Technopark has big names on its list such as TCS, Infosys, UsT ech etc. Even bigger firms like IBM and oracle are expected start their units in Technopark as part of the phase II developments. Technopark has been providing support for innovators and new ideas by their Technopark business incubator (TBI) with all the necessary resources and supports they need to evolve and grow as a ripened business. TBI was a helping hand for all those had great ideas and never had the chance.
Technopark is organizing a function today to felicitate the stake holders who has been contributing since its birth. It’s their support and thoughts that made this venture a world renowned IT center by which we Keralites can always be proud of.
