Purple Lounge:The Party Den

Trivandrum seemed a less partying place for until I found Purple Lounge @ Hotel Safari,opposite S.M.V School. The place is not very new and has been the den of some the best late night fever spread in the town. Its the only dedicated pub Trivandrum has and it has its share of high voltage party material.The place has really classy interiors with some really interesting wall-works,in house DJ, equipped with adequate sound and illumination.
The menu is well set and the pricing is just too attractive compared to the ambience they got.They play good music everyday from 6 p.m and weekends has the DJ floor filled with party animals.Couple entry is mostly free but stags are charged.
Being a stand alone pub,Purple has the charm of being a good hangout for all ages.They have some really choosy cocktail menu and the attractive thing is that they are not over priced.
I would personally rate the place as one of the best pubs I have seen,at least in God’s own Country.Well did I mention that Smiley has a exclusive 15% discount there ?? Well keep reading this space for the best of what Trivandrum can Offer.You can also see my personal views on all these here.

Where is the dance floor ?
on March 5th, 2010A year ago, I went to the purple lounge with a friend.. and the place was a rather empty. It was really nice, and the charges weren’t absurd. The food was good too. I wonder what has changed since then. I’ll be glad to see a lot of people there though
