Make a Difference(MAD) is an organization of young peopleworking with underprivileged children to provide them withquality education. MAD was started in 2006 in Kochi when three college students got together to teach English to children in an orphanage. The concept quickly gained ground and within a short span, MAD developed into an organized network providing an easy platform for college students and young professionals to reach out and make a difference.
MAD volunteers believe in bridging the gap in society through education; to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children in street shelters, poor homes, and other child-support establishments. MAD’s volunteers work towards providing these children with quality education to empower them to take control of their lives and follow their dreams. TheMAD syllabus focuses on life skills through improved communication skills, computer skills and personality development.
