Kootam.com, the biggest Malayalam social media network is organizing a meet up on July 11th at Vailoppilli Samskrithi Bhavan ,PMG junction .Within two years since it began ,Kootam has now around 2 lac members which makes it the social media network with the highest growth rate. Spread among malayalees living all over the world, it’s still growing spreading the message of peace and compassion. “The most attractive and emotional feature that makes Kootam different is that the members posts there blogs, chats and discussions in their mother tongue.Kootam is also making its mark as a charitable organisation.Kottam gave financial as well as mental support to Remya Antony and poor victim of polio. Shes being taken care of since they came across the sufferings she is going through ” Said Dr Jayan ,Coordinator of the meet .He also added there are people coming for the meet from all parts of the world and are excited to meet their online buddies whom they have never met in person.
Another thing that makes Kootam stand out from the rest of the networks is the importance they give to charity. They are helping people with the money they are producing from the network to help helpless people in the state. Jayamohan and Jyothikumar, both non residential Indians started the revolution. The mission of Kootam is to support the usage of Malayalam language and the Malayalam reading attitude in people.
