Japan Water Supply project inaugurated

The first phase of Water Supply project which was funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was inaugurated on May 18th, 2010 by Chief Minister Sri V. S. Achuth. Once all the JICA reservoirs are in place, they would hold enough water to provide for a 12-hour backup to the city’s distribution network.
The water treatment facilities and transmission network have been designed using the latest technology. Displaying all the modern technologies and equipments, an exhibition was set up in Waterworks Compound on the same day.
The exhibition displays most modern methods of sewerage treatments, rainwater harvesting, pumps, etc.

The government is already boasting and staking claims as to the JICA Project being their baby. Only the first phase has been completed, and that too after such a long time. What more havoc will the next phase create, God only knows. How could they say that the first phase is complete, when all the roads that have been dug for this purpose have not been repaired and re-tarred.
on May 21st, 2010Going into their fifth year, this government has been busy with inaugurations, stone laying ceremonies, and making promises that they cannot keep. Besides that, they have done little for the State. I wish they would spend more time for the citizen, rather than wasting time trying to settle strife within their own party. They have been elected to look after the interests of the State. It does not concern us if there are disagreements or problems among factions in this government. We have elected them to make sure that the State machinery is run properly, in an orderly and disciplined fashion. That is their priority. Only then could we ever achieve progress.
Now, will the Government start reinstating the roads?

Now it is shame and even wondering whether the govt machineries are working or not .I have builit house in papanamcode at trivandrum . i am in pain . roada below the railway bridge lading to satyam nagar is horrible . drinking water connection line is not conncted . basic aminities are not there. keralities are talking abt rights everywhere, but here basic facility itself is a question mark .Sashi tharoor gone with her girl . we are hapless . why this is happening ? .
