Kerala State Small Industries Association has always been at the forefront of the State’s efforts in promoting industry and entrepreneurship. The industrial scenario in the region has to be constantly monitored and updated so as to keep apace with the changes in world technology and in international business traits.
9th Industrial Exhibition and Investor’s Meet will be held at Suryakanthi Fair Grounds,Kanakakunnu, Trivandrum from 29th April – 2nd May,2010, 10:30am- 8pm.
The objectives for the Meet are:
- To provide the entrepreneurs a platform to display their products, technology and capabilities.
- To organize a common meeting ground for buyers and sellers of industrial products and machinery.
- To exhibit and give live demo of machines and equipments.
- To enable entrepreneurs to identify new products, processes and projects.
- To enable entrepreneurs to interact with Government Agencies and Financial institutions.
- To enable entrepreneurs t o facilitate speedy clearance by Government Agencies.
- To provide sub-contracting opportunities from Large and Medium industries to MSME sector in Kerala.
The lndustrial Exhibition will consist of more than 100 exhibitors from and all over India showcasing their products and services ranging from local produce, traditional skills to machinery and technology from Kerala and India.
As a part o f the conference, Buyer Seller Meets will be arranged between the large scale, private and public sector units and the MSME sector of Kerala. Also a number of themes will be presented during the conference programs which will definitely boost the industrialization o f Kerala.
An lnvestors Meet is also arranged as a partof the conference. The meet aims to provide an opportunity for investors to explore the investment potential in Kerala and especially in Thiruvananthapuram District where the proposed Vizhinjam Sea Port will be a major catalyst for the investment. Kerala offers an untapped treasure of opportunities in its rural areas. Vast natural resources, skilled and literate manpower, a pro-active government that realises the need for infrastructure and local self-governments that support ventures have opened new areas o f investments.
An MSME Adalat will also be organized as a part of the conference to negate the outstanding issues of MSME entrepreneurs from Thiruvananthapuram District. Such issues will be registered in advance and will be circulated to the concerned Government Department /Agency / Financial Institutions to get a speedy remission during the MSME Adalat.
A multicolour souvenir containing the papers and presentations presented during the investors meet will be released at the parting function of Enterprises Kerala. The souvenir will also contain exhibitor’s directory of those who participated in Enterprises Kerala.
