DD News revamped @ Thiruvananthapuram

The Thiruvananthapuram Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) has already started airing its ‘New look and feel’ news bulletins from Monday. Additional Director General (DD News and Current Affairs) Arvind Manjit Singh inaugurated the first fully automated Regional News Unit (RNU) of Doordarshan here on Monday.
The DDK here has upgraded its software technology. It will be using new software for the presentation of news bulletins from now. The news and visuals from any other centre can also be uploaded in between the news bulletins. Latest technology in visual editing and also in graphic designing is one another feature acquired by DDK. From now on, the DDK’s news bulletins will be laying greater stress on visual-oriented broadcasting and other news-oriented programmes.
