A delegation from Spain to visit the city in October! The delegates hailing from Spain will be having discussions on the twinning concept of Barcelona and Thiruvananthapuram. The aim is to convert Thiruvananthapuram into a global city with an international mindset.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor has said this after inaugurating the bi-annual meeting of the Federation of Residents’ Associations, Thiruvananthapuram, (FRAT) here on Sunday. He also said that the tie-up with Barcelona will help in the exchange of technical expertise and cooperation in the development of our cities. Hope the initiatives being taken will be successful!

Sounds promising…IT or for that matter of fact any industry that has to flourish needs to have world class infrastructure if it has to sustain business and attract and retain talents from across the nation…would love to see Trivandrum shape up like Pune ,Bangalore and Hyd.
