Google Internet Bus

Posted by jk On December - 15 - 2009 6 COMMENTS

Google internet bus was in the city and team trivandrumbuzz was running around to catch the latest buzz to hit the city. Well our persistence paid and at last we found that the bus was parked at Shangumugham beach and we headed straight to the place armed with our camera. We did spot the bus parked to a side of the beach from a long distance and yes we were exited to hit it straight away. We entered the bus and three pretty girls along with two hunks all from Google team Hyderabad went around explaining the nuances of internet.

We soon found out the internet bus had nothing exciting to offer us techies for we are all familiar with Google and the power of internet  but alas the ladies took  time on enlightening us why this caravan moved around the country. The reason of course was to enlighten the mass about the powers of internet and internet giant Google.

Anyone who wanted a quick class on internet and the power of the search engine was offered with clear cut explanations including live demos. Yes folks live internet demos; the caravan is loaded with gadgets to bring the power of the internet to the people.  Large LCD screens dotted the inside of the caravan walls, satellite based internet and a whole lot of other gadgets made the internet experience a pleasurable one. The caravan is on the go and the team plans to visit the schools in the city and do catch them if you want your cup of internet mocha.

The Bus will be parked near Thampanoor tomorrow (16th Dec 2009) morning and will be at the museum in the afternoon. they will be heading to Thrissur day after tomorrow
