The only beauty pageant in Kerala that mainly focuses on the physical beauty of its contestants, although such contestants often incorporate personality, talent and answer to the judges’ question as judged criteria. Miss Kerala across the last decade has endeavored to discover, nurture and display beauty and talent among young women of Kerala. This event is open to young women who have origins in the state of Kerala.

Miss Kerala 2010 was held on 5th August 2010. Kochi hosted 2010 Miss Kerala contest. Registration for Miss Kerala 2010 was completed only around July 2010. There was a peculiarity for this Miss Kerala 2010 contest. It was the 10th Miss Kerala contest. Miss Kerala beauty contests were started by the year 1999, Miss Kerala 2004 and Miss Kerala 2006 were not conducted due to some reasons. It makes Miss Kerala 2010 as the 10th Miss Kerala beauty contest.
MISS KERALA 2010 WINNER:
Hair O Max Miss Kerala 2010 Miss Indu Thampi was selected as Miss Kerala 2010. Winner among the 22 Miss Kerala 2010 contestants. Miss Indu Thampi had pursued B.A. degree from AllSaints College Trivandrum. Miss Indu Thampi has joined for her post graduation in the same college then. Her father is a business man. Indu’s Sister Miss Rashmi had also participated in the Miss Kerala 2010 beauty contest.
As part of the Miss Kerala 2010 contest, Miss Indu Thampi was at Ernakulam for a few more days for the save a girl child campaign.
The first runners up of Hair O Max Miss Kerala 2010 was Miss Manju Raj. Miss Sonal Devraj was selected as the second runner up of Miss Kerala 2010 beauty contest.
